Quellcode
Clean composition, powered by NEFT.

Quellcode

A cocktail that functions like great code:
cleanly built, clearly structured, brilliant in execution.
NEFT Vodka forms the alpine backbone.
Monin Lemongrass draws the line.
Hämmerle adds fruit with origin.
The result? Not a recipe.
A system of flavor.

Every great piece of code begins with clear structure.
And every great cocktail with a clear idea.

Flavor, by design.

The Source

NEFT Vodka

The drink begins where the Alps begin:
with water filtered through layers of ancient stone.
NEFT Vodka is crafted in Tyrol – using spring water softer than words, and grain that ripens slowly in the alpine air.

The Line

Monin Lemongrass

Monin is to this drink what syntax is to a programmer:
the language between the elements.

Monin Lemongrass adds structure and freshness.
It’s not just lemon – it’s greener, more defined, more intriguing. It connects vodka to brandy, fruit to clarity.

The Soul

Hämmerle Apricot

To bring depth into a system, you need a core.
Hämmerle Marillenbrand is exactly that:
not a liqueur, not sweet – but the pure, distilled spirit of an Austrian apricot.

It unites with NEFT in a kind of Austrian coexistence:
clear and bold. Like snow on stone.

The Link

White Tea-Apricot-Cordial

Every strong architecture needs a supporting structure.
In Quellcode, it’s a homemade cordial of white tea, apricot, and salt.
It bridges texture with lightness, smoothing out the system – no edges, no friction.

I’d be truly grateful for any feedback you might have on the drink or the experience.

Hey! I’m Jakob „Jay“ Vehovar!

Born in Graz, now based in Korneuburg, and originally trained as a graphic designer. My plan was to stick with pixels and Pantone colors…
but somewhere between deadlines and flat whites, I fell headfirst into the world of cocktails. Totally by accident. Totally on purpose.

For years I told stories with fonts and color gradients.
Now I do the same thing – just with NEFT, citrus, and questionable glassware choices. Turns out, designing a drink isn’t that different from designing a logo:
You need balance, clarity, and just the right amount of “wait… what?”

I don’t take myself too seriously – but I take my cocktails seriously.
Every drink I create is a little story in a glass.
Sometimes it’s poetry.
Sometimes it’s debugging in liquid form.
Either way: I’ll pour it with passion.
